Regarding The Application Of Pre-insulated Bushings On Insulators
Application of insulated joint sleeve in isolators:
Isolators are designed for rail mounting and use wired connections. These products are called isolating terminals and are suitable for installation in cabinets. With the advancement of technology, the design of isolation terminals is becoming increasingly miniaturized, the purpose of which is to save space.

With the advancement of technology, the design of isolation terminals is becoming increasingly miniaturized, and the purpose of miniaturization is to save space. Of course, dense installation should be allowed, but dense installation presents heat dissipation problems, so internal power consumption must be reduced. Therefore, the value of internal power consumption should also be considered when selecting a product.
Currently, many CPU-based isolation terminals have appeared on the market, featuring field programmability and communication functions, offering high flexibility. For customers, this can reduce inventory and lower capital tie-up. CPU-based isolation terminals will inevitably become the mainstream in this field.
There is another method for isolating transmitters: the sensor and transmitter are integrated and must be placed at a designated location in the field. In this case, the isolation terminal is generally placed in the central control room cabinet, and the isolation terminal in the cabinet supplies power to the field transmitter. The choice of which type to use depends on the PLC interface.
During field commissioning, there may be a mismatch between the instrument and the PLC interface. The transmitting device is a four-wire transmitter outputting 4-20mA, while the receiving end's 4-20mA interface uses a two-wire loop power supply. Direct connection will cause a power conflict. The solution is to use an isolation terminal to receive and isolate the 4-20mA signal from the field. A dedicated circuit is installed in the output section of the isolation terminal to match the two-wire loop power supply interface of the PLC.
