Working Principle Of Insulation Piercing Connectors

When the branch and main lines are inserted into the ipc connector connector, the torque nut is tightened. As the torque nut is gradually tightened, the upper and lower insulating shells of the ipc electrical connectors connector gradually close, and the sealing ring surrounding the blade begins to press against the insulation layer of the cable.  Simultaneously, the piercing teeth of the blade begin to penetrate the cable's insulation layer and gradually pierce the metal conductor.

When the contact depth between the sealing ring and the cable insulation layer, and between the piercing blade and the metal conductor, reaches the designed value, the torque nut breaks off. At this point, the branch line and the main line are connected, thus achieving electrical continuity.

The cable piercing connector connector features a torque nut and a piercing structure. The torque nut ensures constant contact pressure, guaranteeing good electrical contact.  Together with the piercing structure, it makes installation simple and reliable. During installation, simply visually checking whether the torque nut has broken off and whether the wire position is correct is sufficient to ensure reliable quality.
