Installation Of Insulation Piercing Connectors

When installing cable insulation piercing, first determine the location of the branch line on the main cable, and strip off 200-500mm of the outer sheath at the determined location.  Separate the core wires of the main cable; there is no need to strip the inner sheath (insulation layer) of the cable core wires. Insert the branch line directly into the waterproof branch connector (without stripping the insulation layer). Then, fix the connector clamp to the branch core wires of the main cable. Tighten the connector clamp nut by hand at the connection point, and finally use a socket wrench to tighten the torque nut on the connector clamp clockwise.

The torque nut will automatically break off when the contact between the piercing blade and the metal conductor reaches optimal effect, eliminating the need for special treatment of the wires and connectors.
