What Are The Meanings Of Various Parameters In The Arrester Module?
Voltage protection level (Up)
1. Definition: The voltage protection level is the maximum value to which the 66 kv lightning arrester module limits the voltage when it is turned on, usually in volts (V) or kilovolts (kV).
2. Function: The Up value indicates the level to which the 66kv surge arrester module suppresses the voltage when a surge occurs. The lower the Up value, the less overvoltage shock the equipment is subjected to.
3. Application: When protecting precision equipment, choose a 69 kv lightning arrester module with a lower Up value, usually requiring the Up value to be below 1.5kV.
Continuous operating voltage (Uc)
1. Definition: The continuous operating voltage is the highest operating voltage that the 9kv 5ka lightning arrester module can withstand for a long time without damage under normal circumstances, usually in volts (V).
2. Function: The Uc value ensures that the 9kv lightning arrester module will not be triggered under normal operating voltage, and protection will only be activated when the voltage exceeds the normal range.
3. Application: The Uc value should match the rated voltage of the electrical system. For example, in a 230V AC system, a lighting arrester 11kv module with a Uc of 250V is usually selected.
