1. The difference between high-voltage load switches and hv isolator
The first difference between load switches and hv isolator switch is that the currents they cut off are different. Because high voltage electrical isolator does not have an arc extinguishing device, it is only suitable for cutting off no-load current, and cannot cut off load current and short-circuit current. Therefore, isolator high voltage electrical appliances can only be safely operated when the circuit is safely disconnected, and it is strictly operated with load to avoid safety accidents.
Because the load switch has an arc extinguishing device, it can overload current and rated load current, but it cannot cut off short-circuit current.
