The Standard For Torque Wrench Calibration Cycle During Trench Clamp Construction
The installation quality of parallel groove depends on the precise control of bolt tightening torque. As a specialized tool, the torque wrench's output torque value must be rigorously calibrated to meet the technical specifications of parallel groove clamp connector installation.
Torque wrenches require initial calibration before use to establish the correspondence between the torque output value and the scale display. According to power industry standards, wrenches need to be recalibrated every 5000 uses or every 6 months, whichever is earlier. Wrenches that have been stored for more than a year without use also require calibration before use. Calibration records should include the equipment number, calibration date, test torque range, and error value, forming a traceable quality file.
