Current Status Of Domestic Cable Terminal Manufacturing
The reliability of power distribution system connections has long relied on imported terminal products, a situation that has changed significantly in the last decade. A number of manufacturing enterprises with the cable lugs standard have emerged in China, gradually breaking the technological monopoly of foreign brands.
The localization of wire lugs is no longer limited to the low-voltage power distribution field; copper-aluminum transition terminals for medium-voltage switchgear and special terminals for photovoltaic combiner boxes have been put into production. For rail transit projects requiring high-current terminals with a rated current carrying capacity of up to 630A, domestic manufacturers have met the technical specifications by increasing contact area and optimizing heat dissipation structures. In the field of industrial automation, PCB wiring terminals have seen pin pitch reduced to 3.5mm and a insertion/removal life exceeding 5000 cycles.
