Product Characteristics: Due to the galvanic coupling effect that occurs when aluminum and copper come into contact, corrosion will develop within a short period. The optimal solution currently available is the use of aluminum-copper bimetallic connectors. Bimetallic lugs should be utilized for termination. The friction welding process is executed to a high standard. Furthermore, the barrel is pre-filled with a jointing compound to prevent oxidation. Type testing is conducted in accordance with IEC 61238-1.
