Advantage

  • Featuring a helical pre-formed wrapping structure, this optical cable fitting achieves full-surface contact with the cable, ensuring uniform load distribution and eliminating localized stress concentration points. This design prevents the outer sheath from being crushed—a common issue with traditional bolted clamps—and avoids compressing the internal aramid reinforcement layer, thereby significantly reducing the risk of cable bending damage and breakage.
  • The product is pre-formed at the factory to deliver a gripping strength of at least 95% of the optical cable's Rated Tensile Strength (RTS). This ensures full tension-bearing capacity for overhead guy wires, preventing slippage or loosening issues, and making it ideally suited for overhead line scenarios involving long spans and high tension loads.
  • The helical metal structure incorporates inherent elastic cushioning to absorb alternating tensile forces caused by strong winds, ice accumulation, and high-frequency line vibrations. This mechanism slows down the fatigue and aging process of the optical cable, thereby extending the overall fatigue-resistant service life of the overhead line.
  • Since the fitting is pre-formed and shaped at the factory, on-site installation requires no specialized tools or wire cutting. A single technician can complete the assembly manually simply by spirally wrapping the fitting along the optical cable. Compared to traditional guy wire fittings—which require on-site wire wrapping and bolt tightening—this method boosts construction efficiency by over 60%.
  • Once fully wrapped into position, the quality of the installation can be visually verified by eye; there is no need for a torque wrench to measure tightening force. This minimizes the rate of human error during installation and reduces potential safety hazards and maintenance issues in the future.
  • Available in a comprehensive range of pre-formed specifications, the fitting is compatible with ADSS and OPGW optical cables, as well as standard overhead conductors and steel guy strands. It is universally applicable for various line configurations, including straight-line tensioning, terminal anchoring, and small-angle line diversions.
  • Constructed entirely from pre-formed aluminum-clad steel or hot-dip galvanized steel wires, the fitting features a dual-layer anti-corrosion structure. It offers exceptional resistance to corrosion caused by acid rain, coastal salt spray, and humid outdoor environments, boasting an outdoor service life of 25 years or more—far superior to traditional cast iron or standard carbon steel guy wire accessories.
  • The fitting is manufactured as a single, integrated pre-formed unit, free from any welds or exposed metal cut-ends. This design eliminates potential corrosion initiation points right at the source.
  • The product saves on labor costs during initial construction and requires virtually no maintenance thereafter. Instances of loosening, corrosion, or the need for remedial repairs are extremely rare, resulting in significant reductions in the costs associated with line inspection and component replacement.
  • Lightweight Design: The self-weight of the fitting is significantly lower than that of traditional cast steel guy wire clamps. This reduces the structural load exerted on utility poles and towers, thereby lowering the costs associated with pole and tower reinforcement or structural modification projects.
