1) Untwisted ring: As a standard form, be applied to subsize wire. Twisted ring: To large size, use twisted ring to adapt
different tting
2) Installation/identifying color code: Indicate the start point of installation, meanwhile help to identify clamp.

2: Application and structure (Drawing 1-2)

1) Preformed tension set is used in the installation of the exposed conductor used in main and tap distribution line and overhead insulated conductor. It can substitute for the tension clamps including bolt type widely used in present line;
2) The set is simple in structure, two legs of the preformed armor rod intertwist a blank pipe, with a twisted ring as its
backside. The blank pipe would produce a great holding strength when it enlace the conductor, and the ring could be used on the insulator.

3. Material

The tension set is made of galvanized steel wire and aluminum sheathed steel wire.

4. Characteristic

1) High strength; An additional length is provided to ensure tension strength could be up to 100% R.B.S;
2) High erosion resistance: The material is identical to conductor;
3) Simple installation, the tension set could be installed manually at the work site by one person without any special tool;
4) Good installation quality: The tension set installation could be checked by naked eye without specialized training;
5) Strong Universality: It could be widely compatible with many fittings;
6) Adequate holding strength: It is possessed of firm twisted ring, and could provide adequate holding strength for conductors. It also possesses a large applicable conductor range.

Main body: Hot galvanized spheroidal graphite iron
Bolt: Hot galvanized steel
Cotter pin: Stainless steel

6. Attention

1) Don't lap on the set. Lap on the conductor is allowable;
2) Don't use it on overhead earth wire;
3) After initial installation, don' t use it again;
4) The direction of turning between tension set and conductor should be the same. The standard direction is right. Please consult the company if left is required.
