Safety Features

1. The fully insulated service cutout is made of non-hygroscopic phenolic molding, offering high thermal stability and excellent mechanical strength.
2. When the fuse carrier is removed, the incoming and outgoing terminals are shielded by a protective cover.
3. The neutral cover of the cutout base can only be removed after the fuse carrier has been withdrawn.

Fuse Carrier

1. A fuse handle at the top of the carrier allows for easy removal.
2. Fuse replacement is quick and simple.
3. The carrier features clear, permanent markings.
4. Carrier contacts are made of E.T.P. grade copper.
5. High-pressure, integral phosphor-bronze spring clips within the contact assembly ensure permanent, consistent contact pressure on the fuse terminals.

Cutout Base

1. The cutout base is a single-piece molding featuring separate compartments for phase and neutral terminations.
2. The base is designed for two-screw mounting; access to one of the mounting screws is only possible after removing the cutout's seal.
3. The top and bottom cable entry tunnels are tapered to ensure a tight fit around the cable insulation.
4. Cable entry tunnels feature "knock-out" diaphragms that can be removed by applying pressure with a screwdriver.

Terminals

1. Phase and neutral terminals are made of brass with a tin-plated finish.
2. Each terminal is equipped with two brass clamping screws to ensure effective conductor clamping.
3. Terminals and cable clamping screws are made of brass with a tin-plated finish.
4. Phase terminals feature a built-in self-aligning function to ensure effective contact with the fuse carrier clips.
