Ukk Junction Box Application Precautions
1. Normal installation process of 4 pole distribution block
After making the connecting pipe, wrap it with yellow silk tape, with the overlap width being half of the bandwidth, and the winding length should exceed the stripping cut by 150-200mm. The number of layers depends on the voltage level. Then wrap it with J-20 self-adhesive tape on the outer layer, with the overlap width being half of the bandwidth. The length should exceed the yellow silk tape by at least 100-150mm, and the number of layers should be no less than 6.
After the three phases are done. Arrange them into a circle, and then wrap them into a circle with self-adhesive tape according to the above method, and finally wrap them with plastic anti-wear tape, with the overlap width being half of the bandwidth, and the overlap width being half of the bandwidth. The length should exceed the self-adhesive tape by at least 150mm, and the number of layers should be no less than 3.
2. Waterproofing steps for the intermediate joint of low-voltage cables:
1) After the terminal is crimped, wrap the waterproof filling glue around the terminal. Shrink the heat shrink tube.
2) If it is a slightly humid environment, wrap waterproof filling tape on both ends of the cable and shrink the sheath (both ends of the sheath must be glued).
3) If the environment is harsh, you must use self-adhesive waterproof tape to strengthen waterproofing (you can also use heat shrink waterproof tape, we generally use self-adhesive tape, and heat shrink tape is used to repair cable damage). The method is:
A. After filling the waterproof filling glue, wrap a layer of self-adhesive waterproof tape on the outer layer of the filling glue or stretch the self-adhesive waterproof tape to wrap multiple layers, but the thickness should not be too thick, so as not to cause the insulation tube to not fit in.
B. Shrink the heat shrink tube over the glue.
C. Wrap waterproof tape on both ends of the heat shrink tube, then wrap another layer of self-adhesive waterproof tape, wrap waterproof tape and self-adhesive tape on both ends of the cable insulation sheath, and then heat and shrink the sheath.
1) In order to ensure waterproofing and longer operation, it is recommended to use double-wall glue-coated heat shrink tubing and insulation tubing.
2) In order to ensure that the joint can withstand a certain amount of pressure, it is recommended to add a sheath tube to strengthen insulation and protection.
3) The self-adhesive tapes (or heat-shrinkable waterproof tapes) used are all high-voltage products to ensure insulation safety.
4) During construction, it is best to adopt a staggered docking method for the joints (that is, the cables do not need to be neatly cut and docked).
