The Surface Cleaning Of The Pre-insulated Bushing Must Be Carried Out With Care.
Before installing pre insulated sleeve, its exterior should be thoroughly cleaned. Oil stains, moisture, dust, metal shavings, and other contaminants may adhere to the bushing or connector. Failure to remove these can lead to insulation failure, poor contact, and even corrosion.
For pre insulated junction sleeve, it is recommended to use a suitable solvent or oil-free alcohol to wipe the surface. For metal joints, continue wiping with a clean, lint-free soft cloth or fiber-free cotton cloth to remove residue. If insulated joint sleeve was previously stored in a humid or dusty environment, its interior should be purged with compressed air or a clean air source to remove fine particles and dust.
After cleaning, visually inspect the surface to ensure there is no oil film, dust, or foreign matter residue. If dirt is found, repeat wiping or replace the cleaning tools.
