The Role Of Epoxy Resin Insulators In The Internal Insulation Components Of Circuit Breakers
Publish Time: Author: Site Editor Visit: 9
In AC high-voltage circuit breakers, high voltage epoxy resin forms an isolation element between the arc extinguishing chamber and the circuit breaker casing, serving both isolation and support functions. Due to the pressure and thermal shock during the arc extinction process, as well as the impact of SF6 gas decomposition byproducts on the material, high voltage standoff material underwent rigorous performance optimization studies. By adjusting the epoxy resin formulation and filler composition, its resistance to arc erosion and thermal stability can be improved, thus adapting it to the actual operating environment inside the circuit breaker.
