The Gap Between The Clamps And The Grooved Wire Clamps Needs To Be Properly Checked.
When using the parallel groove connector for overhead line installation, the installation quality of the clamps must be carefully observed. Visually inspect for any obvious gaps between the clamp and the conductor. If loose gaps are found, a re-inspection or reinstallation should be performed immediately.
For each parallel groove clamp connector clamp, after installation, the clamp should be inspected from multiple angles. Observe whether all parts fit tightly, especially the contact surface between the conductor groove and the metal clamp. Looseness or gaps on any side may affect the stability of the conductor connection.
For the pg clamp connector clamp with an inner wedge structure, observe the fit between the inner wedge and the conductor groove in a vertical or horizontal direction. If gaps remain after the inner wedge is moved, it may indicate insufficient clamping; re-tighten until the clamp and conductor are completely fitted.
Repeat the above inspection process. Record the status of each pg clamps clamp. Report any abnormalities centrally for subsequent single bolt parallel groove connector maintenance and quality control.
