Low-voltage Pole-mounted Circuit Breakers: Breaking Capacity Design Must Be Guided By User Equipment Requirements.
Publish Time: Author: Site Editor Visit: 7
When designing Lv Pole Mounted Circuit Breakers, its nominal breaking capacity must be set with reference to the maximum short-circuit current that the user equipment may encounter. "Breaking capacity" refers to the circuit breaker's ability to safely interrupt current under fault conditions. If the circuit breaker's breaking capacity is lower than the short-circuit current requirements of the user equipment, the circuit breaker may fail to interrupt the current smoothly in the event of a fault, thus posing a risk to the equipment and system.
