The bolted type strain clamp body is constructed from high-strength aluminum alloy or forged steel, ensuring good elasticity and strength in its load-bearing components. Meanwhile, an annular sleeve with an elastic gasket is fitted at the clamping point of dead end strain clamp to increase the stress-bearing area and reduce stress concentration. The sleeve employs an arc-shaped semi-circular structure with a rubber fastening pad on its inner wall, allowing for stress diffusion during deformation.
Regarding the bolt pre-tightening and conductor contact design, bolted dead end clamp should be designed so that after tightening the U-bolt, the clamp is tightened via a clamping rod or elastic connecting rod, rather than the bolt head directly acting on the conductor at a single point.
