Quality requirements for aluminum tape winding
When various types of aluminum stranded wires are clamped with the pg clamps of the hardware, except for single bolt parallel groove connector and the use of pre-twisted wire protection wires, aluminum tape should be wrapped around the aluminum strands during installation. The winding should comply with the following regulations:
1. The aluminum tape should be tightly wound, and its winding direction should be consistent with the twisting direction of the outer aluminum strands;
2. The wrapped aluminum tape should be exposed parallel groove clamp, but not more than 10mm (5mm is specified in this project, which is half the width of the aluminum tape), and its end should be wrapped back in parallel groove connector and pressed.
3. Construction process
See the figure below for specific construction process requirements.
Measurement---Calculation---Marking---Wrapping---Installation
Use a steel tape measure to measure the width of the overhang aluminium pg clamp. Calculate the theoretical length of the aluminum tape according to the formula. Mark the position of the overhang bimetal pg clamp on the wrapped wire. Align the center of the aluminum tape with the center of the wire clip and wrap it. Install the overhang blackburn parallel groove clamp
