Bolt-type Tension Clamp Standard
1. Scope of application: bolted type strain clamp is suitable for aluminum stranded wire or steel core aluminum stranded wire, usually suitable for wires with a nominal cross-section of 185-240 square millimeters.
2. Structure and material: dead end strain clamp The body and pressure plate are generally made of high-strength aluminum alloy with good conductivity and corrosion resistance. Its structural design is reasonable and can ensure the grip and electrical performance of the wire.
3. Grip: According to the standard requirements, the grip of the wire by bolted dead end clamp should not be less than 95% of the calculated breaking force of the wire to ensure that the wire will not slip out of the wire clamp under various working conditions.
4. Appearance quality: The surface of the wire clamp should be smooth, without defects such as cracks, sand holes, and pores; the threaded part of the wire clamp should be free of damage and burrs to ensure smooth installation and disassembly.
5. Dimension tolerance: The dimensions of each part should meet the requirements of the design drawings, and the dimensional tolerance should be within the specified range to ensure a good fit between the wire clamp and the wire.
6. Electrical performance: Under normal operating conditions, the contact resistance of the wire clamp should not be greater than 1.2 times the resistance of the wire of equal length to reduce power loss and heating.
7. Thermal cycle performance: After the specified number of thermal cycle tests, the wire clamp should not be loose or deformed, and the change rate of contact resistance should be within the specified range.
8. Installation requirements: The installation of the wire clamp should be carried out in accordance with the specified process and method to ensure the installation quality. The wire should not be damaged during the installation process, and the bolts of the wire clamp should be tightened to the specified torque value.
