At the connection points between the stator windings and lead wires of an electric motor, stress concentration, elevated temperature rise, and frequent vibration often occur. In such cases, pre insulated sleeve is required to improve the electrical and mechanical condition of this end structure by providing a continuous insulating covering layer.

After completing wire soldering, applying insulation, installing the pre insulated junction sleeve, and finishing end-winding shaping, securely bind the top of the winding end with waxed thread or white cloth tape.

Using insulated joint sleeve at connection points is a standard practice in the structural design where end-winding wires meet plug connections.
