In response to the question of whether the spring mechanism is not suitable for substation high voltage isolator equipment, the phenomenon mechanism of high voltage isolator switch refusal to close is analyzed and studied, and corresponding hv isolator improvement plans are proposed. The actual situation of the spring operating mechanism applied to hv isolator switch equipment is verified.
