Morseto estanco para derivaciones entre un cable preensamblado de aluminio y un conductor de aluminio o cobre. Su tamaño y rango lo hacen ideal para conexiones de acometida domiciliaria, así como derivaciones a la intemperie en general. Fabricado con materiales de primera calidad, asegura una conexión estanca, completamente protegida ante las más extremas condiciones, sin necesidad de pelar previamente los conductores. La utilización de un bulón con cabeza fusible asegura la correcta instalación por parte del operario (sin necesidad de utilizar herramental especializado). Su diseño evita cualquier daño a la aislación de los conductores, impidiendo a su vez el contacto de los mismos con las partes metálicas expuestas.

DCNL insulation piercing connectors are designed for performing tap connections (in copper or aluminum) from an overhead aluminum line. Manufactured with high quality materials, a premium water- and air-tight connection is ensured, enclosed to protect the conductors from water, dirt, debris and environmental elements in general. Shear-head bolt guarantees proper installation using standard tooling. Insulation piercing design eliminates the need for stripping the conductors, while avoiding contact with exposed metallic components (bolt and nut are completely isolated from the energized parts of the connector).

2.DISTRIBUTION BOX CHARGING CONNECTION

These insulated piercing connector are used to tap the main ABC Cable Line to charge Low Voltage Distribution Boxes which are further connected to different applications such as residential connections, street lights, etc. SMICO Low Voltage Distribution Boxes can provide up to 9 outgoing connections for each incoming line.

3.JUMPER CONNECTION

These IPC are generally used with the same size of cable on each side to facilitate T-Connections (90° turns) or any other high angle turn.

4.TAP OFF/MULTI-TAP CONNECTION TO HOUSEHOLDS

These insulation piercing connector are used to tap the main ABC Cable and bring power to households. Using the Multiport IPC, a one-tap connection from the mainline can be used to bring connections to multiple households.
