The New Testing Solution Achieves A Smooth Transition Between Different Testing Methods For Power Fittings.
When launching its new testing solution, the company designed it to be compatible with the overhead line connectors testing method currently used in power plants and substations. This solution relies on industry-recognized testing procedures to standardize the sampling and testing of existing overhead line hardware components (including insulators, supports, and connectors). The testing content covers multiple dimensions, including mechanical performance testing, withstand voltage and insulation testing, and corrosion resistance testing, to adapt to existing methodologies.
The overhead power line connectors testing process consists of sampling → appearance and dimensional inspection → tensile/compressive strength testing → voltage simulation testing → environmental weathering testing. Tensile testing machines, withstand voltage devices, salt spray chambers, and constant temperature and humidity chambers are included in the equipment list.
