When installing piercing electrical connectors on the main cable, the torque nut automatically detaches when the sealing layer formed by the internal waterproof gasket and insulating grease, along with the piercing blade's pressure on the metal conductor, reaches an ideal state. At this point, the piercing blade successfully pierces the main cable's insulation layer, making tight contact with the conductor metal. The installation process begins with inserting the branch line into the branch cap and tightening the torque nut on wire piercing connector using a socket wrench. As the nut rotates, the upper and lower covers slowly close, and the piercing blade advances to the cable sheath, the tip piercing until it touches the conductor metal. Simultaneously, the waterproof gasket presses against the cable insulation layer with the cover's movement; the insulating grease diffuses through the blade and the crack, building a moisture-proof and waterproof protective layer. When the predetermined torque value is reached, the top of the nut breaks off, marking the completion of mechanical pressing and the entry into the synchronous "sealing-contact-breakage" stage.
