Special Requirements For Copper-clad Grounding Rods In Construction Drawings
GB50057-2010 defines equipotential bonding as "Connecting separate devices, conductive objects, etc. with equipotential bonding conductors or surge protectors to reduce the potential difference between them caused by lightning current."
Construction needs to be carried out according to the engineering design. The requirements have been stated in the construction drawings. For the methods, please refer to the relevant national standard drawings. The requirements for ground rod 3 4 x 10 resistance are generally: direct lightning ground rod 8 ft less than 10 ohms; independent (dedicated) threaded copperbond earth rod less than 4 ohms; combined grounding less than 1 ohm. Special occasions or equipment with special requirements are determined according to their requirements.
