For sf6 circuit breaker operating mechanism, the sealing ring is closely related to the flange face. After installing the sealing ring, maintenance personnel should apply #2 antifreeze grease to the outer flange face of the sealing ring.

Lubrication and sealing treatment are only applicable to the outer flange area that is not in direct contact with SF6 gas. For the sealing ring body that comes into contact with the gas, it is recommended to use HL#8 or HL#10 PTFE grease.

In the actual maintenance of sf6 circuit breaker spring mechanism, the flange face should first be cleaned to remove metal burrs, rust, oil, dust, and other impurities, ensuring a smooth surface. Then, apply antifreeze grease evenly to the flange face, paying special attention to bolt connections and joint gaps, and applying sealant if necessary.
