1. AC Lv Pole Mounted Circuit Breakers for DC circuit
AC low-voltage pole-mounted circuit breakers can be derived for DC circuit protection, but three changes must be noted:
1. Overload and short-circuit protection.
① Overload long-delay protection. When using thermal type (bimetallic element) for overload long-delay protection, its action source is I2R, and the effective value of AC current is equal to the average value of DC current, so it can be used without any modification. However, for large current specifications, those who use the secondary current heating of the current transformer cannot be used in DC circuits because the transformer cannot be used in DC circuits.
