In order to prevent the overhead power line from being damaged due to vibration at the suspension point, the protective wire is installed at the wire clamp of the line conductor, so as to enhance the rigidity near the wire clamp, suppress the bending, extrusion stress and wear of the wire due to vibration, and improve the vibration resistance of the wire.
The protective wire has two types: conical and armor rod preformed. my country mostly uses preformed armour rod protective wire as anti-vibration protection measures, and armor rods has been included in the hardware products. It is an aluminum-magnesium-silicon alloy wire.
