Observation Of The Performance Of Epoxy Resin Insulators After Rain Washing In Operation

During an inspection of high voltage standoff insulators under actual working conditions, it was found that after rainwater washing, the surface dirt on high voltage epoxy was significantly reduced, and watermarks were minimal. During observation, raindrops slid off the coating on epoxy resin insulator, carrying away attached particles and dust, thus improving the cleanliness of high voltage epoxy resin. Further rinsing with a gentle electric brush and clean water resulted in a clear and uniform overall appearance on high voltage standoff along the support pillars, with almost no mud traces.
