Non-destructive Testing Technologies For Electrical Fittings

In overhead line connectors testing, nondestructive testing can be applied to detect surface defects, cracks, fatigue damage, and other issues in overhead line hardware materials. Currently, commonly used nondestructive testing technologies include ultrasonic testing, eddy current testing, magnetic particle testing, and X-ray testing. These technologies can not only accurately and quickly detect defects in overhead power line connectors, but also do not damage the tested overhead power line hardware.
