In order to improve the safety and health of the transmission line, on September 23, the power transmission area of a company replaced the 220kV Reyu Jiayi Line high voltage standoff insulators with the latest anti-bird damage composite high voltage epoxy.

The replaced epoxy resin insulator adopts a new design concept. Not only is the installation combination of the grading ring and the composite high voltage epoxy resin more reasonable, but the grading ring also plays a role in bird damage to a certain extent, which can greatly reduce the harm of bird damage to the line.

All cadres and employees of the power transmission area of a company worked together to overcome the difficulties of small number of personnel and large workload. In order to better complete this work, the leaders of the work area attached great importance to it. Before the operation, detailed arrangements and deployments were made in terms of personnel division of labor, tools, materials and other preparations, and a technical briefing meeting was held to organize the operators to carefully study the safety technology organization measures plan.

During the operation, members of the work area team and management personnel went to the operation site to supervise and guide the work. In order to successfully complete the replacement task, the employees in the power transmission area worked together in unity, and no one complained about the hardship. This is the power transmission worker, an ordinary power transmission worker who is not afraid of hardship and is brave and good at fighting.

The operation lasted 3 hours, and a total of 20 iron towers and 150 high voltage standoff insulators were replaced. The successful replacement of the epoxy resin insulator not only improved the health level of the line, but also opened a new chapter for improving the safe and stable operation of the line in the future.
