Based on the analysis of the composition of sodium-calcium-silicon system polymer suspension insulator glass, the "suppression effect", that is, the possibility of replacing part of SiO2 with alkaline earth metal oxides, was used. The orthogonal design method was used to optimize the high-temperature viscosity of the glass according to the Lyon viscosity calculation formula. Based on this, glass samples and tempered glass suspension type insulator samples were prepared. The results of the glass high and low temperature viscosity and a series of electrical performance tests showed that the glass with the new composition has much lower high-temperature viscosity and better electrical composite tension insulator performance than the original glass.
