Instructions For The Hot Wire Test Of Piercing Clamp Insulation Material
First, the plastic sample used for the insulating shell of cable ipc connector was selected for the test. According to the glow wire test method of national standard GB/T 5169.10-2017, a heating wire of specified diameter was applied to the sample surface at a set temperature. The contact time, heating wire temperature, and whether the sample ignited or dripped were all recorded.
Secondly, for the electrical piercing connector operating environment, the insulating material must not have a continuous flame or dripping ignition after being exposed to heat, and the flame must be extinguished within a specified time.
After the insulation connector fire resistance test is completed, the data is compared with the required values, and the results are used to determine whether the insulation piercing insulator meets the flame retardant performance requirements.
