Installation Process And Site Requirements For Drop-out Fuses
Before installing drop fuse cutout, the integrity of drop out expulsion fuse and its accessories must be checked to confirm that the insulating bracket has no cracks or mechanical damage, and that the fuse tube assembly and all connecting parts meet the technical requirements. Tighten the fuse to the specified tension range to ensure proper contact and stable operation.
When setting up the fuse on site, the drop out fuse 22kv should be fixed to the crossarm or supporting structure so that the fuse tube is kept at a downward angle, so that it can fall off by its own weight after the fuse melts and disconnects the circuit. The installation location must meet space requirements, and drop out fuse 33kv should maintain a reasonable distance from nearby structures to prevent falling components from affecting the safe operation of other equipment. The fuse tube length needs to be adjusted to ensure stable contact between the contact and stationary contact, and to prevent unnecessary falls due to malfunction.
