How To Use Vertical Fuse Disconnector Correctly?

Publish Time: Author: Site Editor Visit: 6

vertical fuse switch disconnector is a common type of high-voltage switchgear. Its function is to disconnect the circuit without load current. Make sure that the equipment being repaired has a clear disconnection point from the power supply to ensure the safety of the maintenance personnel. The disconnector cannot cut off the load current and short-circuit current without a special arc extinguishing device. Therefore, the disconnector can only be operated when the circuit breaker disconnects the circuit. So how to use nhrt40 vertical fuse switch disconnector correctly?

(1) Before operation, make sure that the circuit breaker is in the corresponding opening and closing position to prevent the disconnector from being pulled and closed under load.
(2) During operation, if serious defects such as serious damage to the insulator or serious damage to the transmission rod of the disconnector are found, the operation shall not be performed.
(3) If the disconnector makes a sound, the cause shall be found out. Otherwise, it shall not be pulled or closed hard.
(4) When a locking device is installed between the disconnector, the grounding switch and the circuit breaker to prevent misoperation, the switching operation must be performed in sequence. If the switching operation is locked and cannot be operated, the cause shall be found out. Under normal circumstances, the lock shall not be released at will.
(5) If the disconnector and earthing switch cannot be operated correctly due to the failure of the locking device, the position status of the corresponding circuit breaker and disconnector must be checked strictly according to the locking requirements. Only after verification can the lock be released for operation;
(6) After the lock is released, it should be operated quickly and decisively in the specified direction. Even if the disconnector is closed with load, it is forbidden to return to the original state to avoid the expansion of the accident. However, do not use excessive force to prevent damage to the disconnector; for single-pole knife switches, close the two phases first and then the middle phase when closing the switch. When opening the switch, the order is reversed.
(7) When opening and closing knife switches with load and no-load current, relevant regulations should be followed.
(8) For disconnectors with remote control operation functions, they should generally be operated in the main control room. Only when the remote control electrical operation fails, can they be operated electrically or manually on site with the permission of the director and the technical person in charge of the institute and under on-site supervision.
(9) After the remote control operation is completed, the actual position of the isolating switch should be checked to avoid the phenomenon of refusal to open or close due to the failure of the transmission mechanism in the control circuit. At the same time, the contacts of the isolating switch should be checked to see if they are in place.
(10) When the insulator of the isolating switch is found to be broken, the corresponding circuit breaker should be opened according to regulations.
(11) Wear a safety helmet, insulating gloves, and insulating boots during operation.
(12) After operating the isolating switch, the anti-misoperation locking device should be locked to prevent misoperation next time.
