Adding nano-silica (SiO₂) filler to pre insulated sleeve improves the hydrolysis resistance of pre insulated junction sleeve. After a 1000-hour high-humidity test at 85°C and 85% RH, insulated joint sleeve's insulation resistance remained ≥1×10¹⁴Ω·cm (compared to ordinary rubber, which is susceptible to leakage due to water absorption and only has a resistance of 1×10¹²Ω·cm).
