How Are Piercing Clamps Used In Cable Branch Connections?

When laying cable systems on-site, it is often necessary to run branch lines from the main cable. When using the ipc connector method for cable branch connections, simply fix the ipc electrical connectors body to the predetermined branch point of the main cable, insert the branch line into a dedicated branch groove, and then apply pressure with bolts to force the internal metal piercing blades to pierce the insulation layer of the main cable, making direct contact with the main conductor. This completes the electrical connection between the main line and the branch line. This process does not require stripping the insulation of the main conductor or cutting the main line, reducing interference with the cable's mechanical structure.
