How Are Copper Wire Terminals Produced?
Cable Lugs is stamped with copper strip using a punch press and a dedicated mold, which requires high standards for punch press, mold, materials, and electroplating process. Generally, the quality of terminals produced by high-speed punching machines (such as Taiwan Zhenli 25T punching machines), precision molds for slow wire processing, and high-precision copper strip punching is relatively stable. Of course, if there is not much funding, domestic low-speed punching machines or domestic high-speed punching machines can also be used, and fast wire molds can be used, but the precision and stability of the product are relatively poor. Hardware terminals are usually made continuous, and using terminal machines to crimp wires can improve efficiency. Nowadays, semi-automatic terminal machines have gradually been phased out, and more and more companies are using fully automatic terminal blocks with faster speed, higher accuracy, and more stable crimping quality.
