terminal lugs is an interface device that transfers construction lines, marks branch lines, and provides convenience for wiring and line checking. It is a box made of metal or plastic specially installed with copper lugs, also called a control box. According to the use function, it can be divided into grounding terminal box, transfer terminal box, fire terminal box, explosion-proof terminal box and other functional boxes. In some cases, in order to facilitate construction and debugging, some special products with more regular installation settings such as short-circuit isolators can be installed in Aluminum Cable Lug.

The terminal box is mainly used to protect the internal terminals from waterproofing, moisture, dust, electric shock, and ultraviolet radiation. It is the intermediate link between outdoor electrical equipment and indoor measurement, control, protection, communication and other equipment. When the air is humid, especially in the rainy season, the moisture condenses and accumulates in the outdoor terminal box, which can easily cause the insulation resistance of the DC secondary circuit to the ground to decrease. In severe cases, the insulation resistance drops to zero, thereby forming a DC positive or negative power supply grounding. If the DC two-point grounding is caused, it will cause the protection to refuse to operate or malfunction, and even damage the equipment, which will seriously threaten the safe operation of the power grid. The terminal box is damp, causing the terminal block screws and connectors to rust, resulting in poor contact of the secondary terminals. It will also cause the current circuit terminals to heat up or even open, causing protection to refuse to operate or malfunction, causing accidents. Poor contact of the control circuit, signal circuit and other terminals will cause abnormal operation of the measurement and control and protection devices, erroneous signals, and cause operators to make wrong judgments and make wrong analyses.

The terminal box is equipped with a temperature and humidity controller to prevent condensation and pre-adjust the temperature. The temperature and humidity controller consists of a temperature sensor and a condensation sensor, which monitors the temperature and humidity changes in the terminal box at any time. When the internal ambient temperature of the box is lower than the pre-adjusted temperature or condensation is about to occur, the controller automatically starts the heater to run and heat to increase the internal ambient temperature of the box and destroy the micro-environment where condensation occurs. When the conditions for condensation in the box disappear or the ambient temperature reaches the pre-adjusted temperature, the heater automatically disconnects and stops heating, and the controller resumes the monitoring state.
