High Voltage Fuse Blows In Case Of Overcurrent
Publish Time: Author: Site Editor Visit: 20
A direct cause of fuse failure is overcurrent. When the current exceeds the rated current of drop fuse, the heat generated by the current flowing through the fuse element drop fuse cutout exceeds the melting point of the fuse element drop out expulsion fuse, causing it to melt and thus disconnect the circuit. Overcurrent can be momentary, such as a short-circuit current, or it can be a continuous overload current.
