Function And Configuration Of The Grounding Terminal In Ukk Junction Boxes
The grounding terminal of power terminal box minimizes the current flowing through the device when a person comes into contact with the casing by quickly diverting the fault current to the ground. When a leakage fault occurs in electrical equipment, the grounding system effectively discharges dangerous current, preventing the risk of electric shock.
According to the requirements of GB 50054 "Code for Design of Low Voltage Power Distribution", the grounding terminal of terminal power block should be reliably connected to the protective conductor. The cross-sectional area of the terminal power distribution block grounding terminal needs to be selected based on the maximum fault current of the line and thermal stability verification; the copper conductor should not be less than 10mm². The number of wires connected to each terminal is also clearly limited, generally not exceeding two, and anti-loosening washers and spring washers must be installed to prevent loosening during long-term operation.
