In order to keep the vacuum circuit breaker in good working condition, maintenance management must be strengthened.
1. Keeping the air moist or unclean, and the pipeline unclean, may cause the following consequences:
(1) The humid gas decomposes into a mixture of hydrogen, oxygen and other gases under the action of the arc, destroying the insulation between the breaks after the main contact is disconnected, making the arc difficult or the arc reignited. In severe cases, it will cause the arc extinguishing chamber to burst.
(2) The insulation strength of the supporting porcelain bottle and the inner cavity of the arc extinguishing chamber is reduced, causing surface discharge.
(3) Foreign matter such as paint and rust in the pipeline may block the air port, causing the main circuit breaker to malfunction and jam.
(4) If foreign matter enters the arc extinguishing chamber, it may cause poor contact of the main contact, causing the nonlinear resistor to burn due to long-term power-on. In severe cases, it may cause the nonlinear resistor porcelain bottle to burst.
Therefore, an oil-water separator is installed on the air inlet pipe of the air storage cylinder of the main circuit breaker, and a drain valve is installed at the bottom. During use and maintenance, water should be drained regularly to keep the air path clean.
2. Replace rubber parts regularly
The main circuit breaker is a pneumatic electrical device with complex structure. Each component has high requirements for sealing performance. In order to ensure good sealing performance, rubber parts should be replaced regularly.
3. Check the main components regularly
The main components should be checked regularly to maintain good technical status.
1. Arc extinguishing chamber
Regularly check the status of the main contact overtravel and the moving contact return spring. The moving and static contacts will wear due to mutual friction due to frequent opening and closing, resulting in reduced overtravel and reduced contact pressure.
When the overtravel is reduced to a certain extent, the moving and static contacts should be replaced. When the deformation of the moving contact return spring exceeds a certain limit, it must be replaced in time.
2. Nonlinear resistor
Keep the nonlinear resistor porcelain bottle clean and well sealed, and replace the desiccant in the nonlinear resistor porcelain bottle regularly.
Detect the resistance of the nonlinear resistor. When the resistance value changes beyond a certain limit, it must be replaced in time.
3. Main valve
Regularly check the matching size between the piston and the valve body. If the size does not meet the requirements, it should be replaced in time.
4. Transmission air cylinder
Properly adjust the buffer of the transmission air cylinder to ensure the good operation of the isolation switch. Regularly check the matching accuracy between the piston and the cylinder body, and ensure its good operating performance by trimming or replacing parts.
5. Ventilation plug
The packing in the plug must be replaced regularly, the ventilation volume of the plug must be checked, and it must be adjusted to within the allowable range.
