Design Of The Cross-arm Side Of The Insulator

The large anti-bird droppings shed on the cross-arm side of porcelain dead end insulators should be reasonably designed. In order to prevent bird droppings from sliding along the outer side of the equalizing device to the vicinity of the equalizing ring, thereby forming a conductive channel between the upper and lower hardware and causing a short circuit accident, the size, angle and material design of the anti-bird droppings shed of suspension insulator must be fully verified and optimized.
