Description of the winding process of aluminum tape used in ab cable suspension clamp wiring construction
1. Purpose:
In order to ensure that the aluminum tape used for conductor and ground wire in wiring construction is tightly wound, the process is beautiful, and it is convenient for the installation of abc suspension clamp, our department has specially compiled this process description to unify the requirements for the winding and installation of aluminum tape in this construction section.
2. Quality requirements for aluminum tape winding
When various types of aluminum stranded wires are clamped with the wire clamps of hardware, except for the parallel groove wire clamps and the use of pre-twisted wire protection wires, other types of aluminum stranded wires should be wrapped with aluminum tape outside the aluminum strands during installation. The winding should comply with the following regulations:
1. The aluminum tape should be tightly wound, and its winding direction should be consistent with the twisting direction of the outer aluminum strands;
2. The wrapped aluminum tape should be exposed from the wire clamp, but not more than 10mm (5mm is specified in this project, that is, half of the width of the aluminum tape), and its end should be wrapped back in the wire clamp and pressed.

4. Specific construction methods
1. First compare the width D (unit: mm) of the wire clamp (the wire j hook suspension clamp in this project needs to be wrapped with aluminum tape when installed), and calculate the required aluminum tape length L (unit: mm) by the following formula:
L=(D+10)/10*3.14*d+2*20
Wherein, d is the outer diameter of the wrapped wire, mm, and this project is 36.24mm.
2. As shown in the figure below, before installing the wire clamp, mark three positions on the wrapped wire: the center position O of the wire clamp installation, and the positions A and B at 5mm of the outer edge of the ends of the wire clamp.
3. Take the aluminum tape of L length, mark it at 1/2L length, and stick it on the upper surface of the wrapped wire so that its center mark point coincides with the O point of the wrapped wire.
4. At point A, fold the aluminum tape to 90° in the direction of the outer aluminum strand of the conductor, and use pliers to flatten and tighten it, then wrap the aluminum tape along the outer diameter of the conductor, one circle tightly, and do not loosen the strands until it is wound to point O, leaving only about 20mm of the end, and the excess is clamped off. Similarly, at point B, fold the aluminum tape in the opposite direction to 90° and wrap it to point O. As shown in the figure below:
5. After the two aluminum tape ends at point O are hinged and flattened and tightened with pliers, the boat-shaped wire clamp can be installed.
V. Precautions
1. The markings of points O, A, and B at the suspension clamp for ab cable installation position should be as accurate as possible, and should be clearly marked with a marker before installation.
2. The center of the aluminum tape must coincide with the center position O of suspension clamp for abc cable to ensure the correctness of the installation position. At the same time, the aluminum tape should be wound as tightly and beautifully as possible during winding. 3. Before formal construction, a demonstration installation should be carried out at the material station or the construction team station, and construction personnel should be organized to observe and train, and the length of the aluminum tape should be corrected according to actual needs.
