1. Unique manufacturing process: The horizontal continuous casting production process is adopted, which is the first in China. The continuous casting process uses the method of heating the electrolytic copper to 1200oC to form an alloyed over-plating layer on the copper bonding surface. The bimetallic interface is completely and firmly bonded, thereby realizing the ductile metallurgical welding between copper and steel, forming a single composite body, which can be drawn arbitrarily like drawing a single metal, without disconnection, warping, and cracking.

2. Better anti-corrosion properties: There is no residue inside the bimetal, and the corrosion resistance is better. The horizontal continuous casting process uses high-temperature melting, and the residue is calcined and overflows the copper surface, and will not remain in the copper-clad steel conductor, so there will be no corrosion inside. Using flat steel or building foundation as copper bonded earthing rod affects the reliability of copper bonded ground rods due to poor corrosion resistance. Using galvanized angle steel (round steel) to make earthing rod copper, although it slows down the corrosion of steel, zinc is more active than steel and corrodes faster than steel. Since the galvanized layer is in contact with the soil, it is constantly corroding and changing, with poor stability and short service life (generally less than 5 years). The resistance value needs to be tested every year, which is a lot of work. Copper-clad metal composite materials are used to make copper rod for earthing and lightning protection conductors. Due to the poor metal activity of copper, it generally does not react with acids, alkalis, and salts. According to the skin effect, when the surface copper layer is greater than 0.25mm, the current carrying capacity of the steel core is very small. The strength of the steel is used to send the copper conductor underground. The surface copper conductor is sent underground, and the surface copper layer will not corrode. Therefore, the 8ft copper ground rod resistor will not change over time, and maintenance-free can be achieved. The service life can generally reach 50 years.

3. Better electrical performance: The surface layer is oxygen-free copper with good conductivity, and the inner layer is high-quality carbon steel. It conducts electricity according to the principle of skin effect and has excellent magnetic properties. The resistance is much lower than conventional materials such as steel and galvanized steel. The surface is oxygen-free copper.

4. High adhesion of the copper layer: Because the copper layer and the surface of the steel are molecularly combined, the adhesion is high. When twisting into stranded wires, the copper layer will not be damaged, and there will be no disconnection, peeling, or cracking.

5. Low price: Because its corrosion resistance, electrical properties, tensile strength and other properties are completely equivalent to pure copper products, it can directly replace pure copper conductors. Compared with pure copper grounding conductors, it is cheap and saves a lot of money for engineering projects.

6. Convenient installation: The horizontal continuous casting copper-clad steel grounding product uses exothermic flux for welding, the joint is firm, stable, easy to use, and can meet the low resistance requirements of special occasions.
