Rated voltage.
The voltage that can be sustained for a long time during normal operation is 35kV, which determines the applicable voltage level of the power system.
Rated current.
The current value that is allowed to pass for a long time under specified conditions. Common specifications include 630A, 1250A, etc., which determines the load current that can be reliably carried and cut off.
Rated short-circuit breaking current.
It measures the ability to cut off short-circuit current during short-circuit faults. The general values are 12.5kA, 16kA, 20kA, 25kA, etc. The higher the value, the stronger the short-circuit breaking capacity, which can more reliably cut off short-circuit current and protect power system equipment.
Rated short-circuit closing current.
Under rated voltage, the maximum short-circuit current peak that can be reliably closed is generally about 2.5 times the rated short-circuit breaking current. For example, for a circuit breaker with a rated short-circuit breaking current of 20kA, the rated short-circuit closing current is about 50kA, which reflects the ability to close short-circuit faults.
Rated thermal stability current.
The maximum effective value of the short-circuit current allowed to pass within a specified time (usually 2s or 4s), such as 12.5kA/4s, indicates a rated thermal stability current of 12.5kA and a thermal stability time of 4s, reflecting the ability to withstand the thermal effect of the short-circuit current.
Rated dynamic stability current.
In the closed state, the maximum current peak that can withstand the electromotive force of the short-circuit current without damage is usually about 2.55 times the effective value of the rated thermal stability current.
Opening and closing time.
Opening time: The time interval from receiving the opening command to the arc extinguishing after the contact separation is generally between 20 and 60ms. Rapid opening is critical to quickly remove faults and ensure the safe operation of the power system.
Closing time: The time from receiving the closing command to the contact fully contacting is usually in the range of 60 to 100ms. The appropriate closing time ensures that the circuit breaker is reliably closed and the circuit is normally energized.
Contact opening distance.
The distance between the moving and static contacts of the circuit breaker when the contacts are in the open position. The contact opening distance of 35kVLv Pole Mounted Circuit Breakers is generally about 10 12mm, ensuring sufficient insulation capacity when opening to prevent breakdown.
Phase distance.
Products from different manufacturers are different. They must meet the electrical safety distance requirements, ensure phase-to-phase insulation performance, and avoid phase-to-phase short circuits.
Operating mechanism parameters.
Common operating mechanism types include spring operating mechanisms, etc. The energy storage time is generally about 10 20s, that is, the time required from the start of energy storage to completion. The rated voltage of the opening and closing coil is commonly DC 220V, DC 110V, etc., which determines the power supply voltage required for the normal operation of the operating mechanism.
